Great performance without breaking the bank
The GTX 1070, even though it isn't the top of the line for the GTX 10 series from nVidia marks a substantial performance increase over the flawed GTX 970 and it's VRAM access issues. It also has twice as much VRAM as the GTX 970 was advertised to have. And all of it can be accessed through a high speed access path. This GTX 1070 also does not exhibit the problem some early GTX 1070s had with displaying to certain older monitors through the displayport ports. I have it running two Samsung curved 17 (CF398) monitors through displayport that my early GTX-1070 refused to do although those same ports work just fine on newer monitors. Oddly enough all three of my GTX-1070s have the same GPU chip and the same BIOS (all are EVGA SC Black GTX-1070s). But that first one just refuses to work with older monitors through displayport. Weird? Yep. I have been getting consistently good scores using this card through 3D Mark that rank with most other systems configured like mine and using this video card. I do not have it overclocked (I don't overclock). I am thoroughly satisfied with this video card and its performance.Read full review

Simply amonst the VERY BEST!
How is this for specific: If you are not impressed by this video card, you are probably either: 1. Biased or other have peculiar personal preferences (which could be understandable) OR 2. Have no idea of what you are doing, want, know how, tech savyy, talking about etc. etc. I am not one for "excellence" but this is DAMM, DAMM GOOD! The next level is commercial grade, server level thousand dollar stuff ...so yeah BIG WIN with this product; PERFORMANCE=UNMATCHED PRICING: VERY REASONABLE.

A very good card
A massive step up from my gtx 770. Did not receive the Mass Effect game code however. Either way a great value for this particular card.

This GPU is phenomenal! Upgraded from an Asus GTX 760! iRacing bliss! 300 FPS Wow!
This GPU is phenomenal! Upgraded from an Asus GTX 760. According to a popular video benchmark site this card is more then twice as powerful. I use it for sim racing. Running on iRacing everything on ultra and doesn't even bat an eye. 3×22 in monitors getting 300 fps at Dover! Ive capped the FPS to run a cooler system but damn!
